Lidl is stocking a pigs in blankets pizza as part of its ambitious sausages wrapped in bacon Christmas range.
The supermarket's pigs in blankets pizza combines a sourdough base, a rich Mediterranean style tomato sauce, red onions, cranberry sauce and pigs in blanket sausages. The supermarket reckons the Christmas creation is a 'dream come true' for fans of festive food. Lidl's Christmas pizzas do not stop there either, there is also a pizza take on the Christmas dinner, featuring turkey, brie and cranberry.
The pigs in blanket pizza is available in store now until stocks last. It retails for £3.29. Lidl is also launching a yard -ong pig in blanket sausage, available from December 19 for £4.49; packs of two foot-long pigs in blankets available from December 12 for £3.29 and 'chicken' in blankets for £2.79. They are chicken sausages wrapped in turkey bacon, which will be available from Thursday December 19.
