The arrival of the holiday season means we can start indulging in delicious food.
And now pizza can officially be enjoyed as a Christmas treat, as Lidl has just launched a new pigs in blanket pizza for the festive period.
A tasty combination of two of the nation’s favourite foods, the impressive treat is made from a stoned-baked sourdough base and topped with a rich Mediterranean-style tomato sauce, red onions, cranberry sauce and, of course, pigs in blankets.
It's priced at just £3.29 and is available in Lidl supermarkets nationwide from Thursday, December 5th.
But customers will need to be fast, because these delicious pizzas are likely to sell out quickly.
The budget supermarket chain is selling an entire range of pigs in blankets-inspired treats for the holidays - including a Yard long Pig In Blanket (£4.49), Deluxe 6 RSPCA Outdoor Bred British Pork Stuffing Parcels (£2.79) and Chicken in Blankets (£2.79). These tempting foods will be available in store from December 19th.
