Lidl is stocking its sell-out own-brand trainers in September

Lidl is releasing its own-brand trainers this month - and this is the first time they are being sold in England and Wales.

The shoes feature the Lidl logo, and have a red, yellow and blue colour scheme to emulate Lidl's trademark colours.

They will be retailing for £12.99. Last time they were on sale collectors resold them on eBay for £150.

The trainers will be released as part of the Lidl by Lidl range, which will arrive in supermarkets from Thursday, September 16.

The collection features everything from Lidl branded trainers to brightly coloured totes, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The Adult’s Trainers, priced at £12.99, are set to be the star of the show, giving a “retro feel to any outfit without compromising on comfort”, and feature added ankle padding. They are available in a range of ladies’ and men’s sizes.

Lidl’s Adults’ Sports Socks are priced at £1.49, while the Men’s Lidl Swimming Shorts, which cost £4.99, are available in several patterns.

The Foldable Lidl Shopping Bag also comes in different designs, featuring wide straps and an added elastic band to easily fold it away. The bag is priced at 99p.

‘Lidl by Lidl’ will be available in stores while stock lasts.
