Lidl is selling a new home fitness range and prices start at just £4.99

The new year is a perfect time to start getting fit, but gym memberships can often be too expensive.

Which is why budget supermarket chain Lidl has launched a new home fitness range that's extremely affordable, with prices starting from just £4.99.

Available in stores now, the training collection includes all the equipment you need to begin your new fitness regime indoors - from resistance bands (£4.99) to a rowing machine (£199.99).

For those who are aiming to build strength, there's a six-piece weights set for £9.99 and push up bars for a bargain price of £6.99 each.

There's also a balance board (£6.99) to help you build your core resistance and a skipping rope set (£6.99) that's ideal for getting your heart pumping.

If you need some comfy sportswear for smashing those workouts in, Lidl is also selling a new range of men's and women's activewear - and it's priced from just £6.99.

Fitness lovers can snap up a pair of running shoes for £17.99, sports tops for £6.99 each and some trousers or leggings for £6.99 a pair.

You'll need to be quick, though, as most of these items are expected to fly off the shelves. It's also worth calling up your local Lidl store to check if they have the products in stock before making a trip.
