Lidl is selling a heated dog bed for £25 this winter

If you're concerned about keeping your pup warm this winter, Lidl has just launched a genius new dog bed that promises to keep your pooch the perfect temperature all year round.

Offering maximum comfort for pets, it comprises of a seriously comfy looking pillow "with extra padding", and is also able to warm up or cool down your dog, depending on the weather.

The clever bed works by reflecting your dog's heat back to the bed, keeping them warm as they sleep, with no need for blankets or turning the heating on at nighttime.

As for the summer months, when you turn the pillow over you have a cooling side, which works by drawing the heat away from your mutt’s body in order to help lower their temperature.

Available from today, the heated dog bed can be found in the middle of Lidl aisle, from now until stocks run out.

Sadly, it's only available in store at Lidl, and not online, although we have spotted some very similar products elsewhere on the internet.

For example, you can get a self heating pet bed on Amazon for £8.95, with the same reflective thermal body heat technology, as well as a fancy quilted version from Pets At Home, for between £40 to £60.

It's suited for all size dogs too, measuring in at L90 x W60 x H24cm, and if you need to wash it, Lidl recommends doing it by hand.

Lidl has over 700 stores across the country, and is potentially the only supermarket selling such an item right now, as we can't find anything similar at the likes of Aldi and Tesco et al.
