Lidl is selling £7.99 anti-snore pillows designed to give you a good night's sleep

If you sleep beside a snorer, then you know the pain.

While your significant other honks beside you, you lie awake, checking the clock, acutely aware that time is running out and you'll soon have to be up for work.

But ahead of National Stop Snoring Week 2019, Lidl is launching an anti-snore pillow to help the UK enjoy a lifetime of undisturbed sleep.

National Stop Snoring Week takes place from April 22 to April 28, BirminghamLive reports .

According to the British Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Association, 41.5 per cent of the UK adult population snore.

The Silentnight Anti-Snore Pillow has been cleverly designed to help reduce snoring.

The new pillow sold by the budget supermarket has been tested by the British Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Association.

The BSSAA found the pillow reduced snoring frequency and volume by approximately 50 per cent (yes, really).

At the centre of the pillow is an ergonomically shaped foam core which has been designed to support the head and neck, keeping it at just the right position to improve breathing.

Costing just £7.99, the pillow is suitable for back and side sleepers and is hypoallergenic.

Impressively, Lidl says it contains no materials that are likely to cause allergies.

The pillow went on sale last week and Lidl confirmed it is available while stocks last.
