An urgent recall notice has been issued for jars of green pesto sauce which were sold at Lidl stores across the UK.
The supermarket is asking for the sauce to be returned as they contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.
This means there is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy and anyone who has bought the jars should return them for a full refund.
Several batches of Baresa Green Pesto Alla Genovese are affected. They are 190g, have a best before date of June 2022 and have the following batch codes: IIF103, IIF183 and IIF186.
Food Standards Scotland said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
"The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers."
Lidl said: "No other batch codes or Baresa products are affected by this recall.
Lidl GB wishes to apoligise for any inconvenience caused."
