Lidl Ireland hit with supply issues as some items won’t make it to shelves in the coming weeks

Supermarket chain Lidl has been hit with supply issues as some items won’t make it to shelves in the coming weeks.

Lidl is facing supply issues for its ‘Middle Aisle Items’ across its 200 Irish branches.

“Due to on-going supply chain issues, availability of promotional items may be subject to change,” the supermarket said.

From this Monday, September 27, LED Light Bulbs, Dual USB Charger, Wi-Fi Range Extender and USB Charging Hub have all been cancelled. Redex One Tank Twin Pack 2 x 250ml CDU, due to come in on Thursday, September 30, is also cancelled.

Planned for the week of October 4, the Professional Stand Mixer has been cancelled.

Last week, a 7-in-1 Steam Mop was delayed on Thursday, September 23rd.

“We're working on bringing these to you as soon as possible,” Lidl said on their website.

Past disruptions include the cancellation of sensor bins, waffle makers, spray mops, Yankee Candles and frying pan sets.

Since August, the likes of walking sticks, bathroom cabinets and alarm clock radios have been delayed

They added: “Thanks for your understanding as products in our Middle Aisle may be delayed or cancelled in these uncertain times."

Future cancellations or delays will be posted to their website here, under ‘Product Updates’.
