Lidl are said to be launching an investigation after their iconic sold-out trainers have began to appear online at well over 10 times the price.
The shoes are so popular that they have sold out across all UK stores with Lidl confirming on Twitter that there are no plans to restock.
However they are hopeful that they will "return to stores again in future."
We previously reported that the shoes were selling for a staggering £500 however that how now increased so much so that shoppers have companied to the budget supermarket as the bold red, yellow and blue shoes are being sold on eBay for £5,000.
Now with that price who would put a bid on for that? However as you can see below, one has five bids.

The popular £12.99 'Lidl by Lidl' range went viral prior to its September 16 launch as shoppers took to social media to show off their new purchase.
In addition to their iconic trainers, the family supermarket also sell novelty socks for just £1.49.
Lidl have responded to the complaints by announcing on Twitter that they will be launching an investigation after a number of customers alerted them to the eBay sales of their stock.
A Lidl spokesperson said: "With regards to items being sold on eBay, we have been made aware and are looking into this."
