Lidl have 400 store and warehouse jobs across Ireland - and paying Living Wage of €12.30

Lidl is trying to fill 400 jobs across Ireland due to "unprecedented customer demand" following the coronavirus outbreak.

The roles will be in stores and warehouses across the country and the new staff will receive the Living Wage of €12.30 per hour.

The supermarket giant is looking for workers with experience in retail, catering or hospitality and who may have lost their jobs in recent days.

JP Scally, Managing Director, Lidl Ireland said: "These aren’t the usual circumstances by which we hope to be welcoming new people to our team.

"However, we take our responsibility to feed the nation very seriously.

"We want to ensure our frontline team is supported in every way possible and that means hiring additional team members at this difficult period to help us to continue to provide food and supplies to communities across the country."

Applicants are encouraged to visit the retailer’s website to apply.
