Lidl has launched an animal Easter egg collection that’s perfect for kids

Easter is less than three weeks away and now is the perfect time to sort out chocolate eggs for the little ones in your life.

If you're looking for something a bit different to treat your kids to this Easter (April 4), Lidl has got you covered.

The budget supermarket has launched a new range of animal Easter eggs that look almost too adorable to eat.

Shoppers can choose from a selection of creamy chocolate creations in shapes of an elephant, lion and monkey. Why not pick up all three so the little ones can create their own chocolate zoo?

At just £2.99 each, the new sweet treats are a total bargain for customers on a budget. We have a feeling they'll sell out fast - so you might want to pick yours up soon.

Lidl’s Mister Choc Animal Easter Eggs and other seasonal goodies can be found in stores nationwide now. You can find out your nearest Lidl branch by visiting the store finder here.

The supermarket chain recently released an Easter egg with three-in-one fruit and nut flavours for just £10.

Looking for more spring goodies that little ones will love? M&S has launched a limited-edition Colin the Caterpillar for Easter - perfect for enjoying on the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

The new “Egg Hunt Colin the Caterpillar” is available at M&S stores across the UK and is priced at only £10. You can also buy it as part of a gift bag with five other tasty Easter treats for £30.

Meanwhile, Tesco has slashed the price of large Easter Eggs from Cadbury and Mars to just £2.

Those with a Clubcard can take advantage of the offers until Tuesday 23rd March.

With over two hundred Easter eggs and treats available, there’s guaranteed to be cracking Easter deals for the whole family.
