Earlier this year, Lidl launched a new rewards app offering shoppers a whole range of benefits, including digital receipts, scratchcards and weekly money-saving coupons.
And now the budget supermarket is offering new and existing users of the Lidl Plus app a £2 coupon when they spend £100 during December - and it doesn’t need to be in a single shopping trip transaction.
Customers who spend a further £100, bringing their overall December total to £200, will also receive a £10 coupon.
Shoppers don’t need to worry about keeping track of how much they’ve spent in order to qualify for the vouchers - just scan your virtual Lidl Plus card, which is in the app, every time you make a purchase in-store.
Once you've reached the spending target, your £2 or £10 coupon should appear automatically in the Coupons section of the app.
You can't get change from the coupons, you'll have to spend £2 to use the £2 one, and you'll need to redeem it within seven days of issue.
There are 103 Lidl stores across Scotland that are a huge hit with bargain hunters scooping up weekly Middle of Lidl offers on everything from toys to TV’s.
How to get the Lidl Plus app
Lidl Plus is free and available to download on the Apple and Google Play app stores.
Once the app is loaded onto your mobile phone, you’ll be asked to enter your name and choose a Lidl store.
You don’t have to enter your address, but you will need to add your mobile number to verify the account.
