Chocolate lovers are raving about a new spread that is very similar to a well known luxury indulgent brand.
Making those on a new year health kick want to ditch their diets already is the discovery of a tasty chocolate spread at Lidl.
A picture of the ‘Deluxe’ spreads, which cost £1.99, was shared on the Facebook group Snack News & Reviews and it got people talking, the Liverpool Echo has reported.
The spreads come in a variety of flavours, including salted caramel and banoffee and are similar to the Lindt spread range, which cost £5.99.
The cheaper Lidl spreads have got people talking on social media.
Many Lidl customers were keen to try out the spreads after seeing the picture on Facebook.
One person commented: “These look awesome.”
Another added: “How awesome does the chocolate orange look?”
And a third said: “Mmm they look so nice.”
Chocolate orange was a hugely popular flavour last year, with shoppers getting excited over everything from Chocolate Orange Twirls to Chocolate Orange Giant Buttons.
Lidl stores remain open during lockdown and people are allowed to go shopping when needing to stock up on essential items.
