Lidl has issued an apology to people across Ireland who were awaiting the arrival of one particular toy for kids this Christmas.
A 15-piece Doll's House was advertised to go on sale here on Monday, however, the budget grocer has confirmed this won’t happen.
Due to delivery issues, the playset won’t arrive this side of Christmas much to the disappointment of many shoppers.
Toy supplies have already been strained this year as a result of issues relating to Brexit and shipping delays, and so many popular options this Christmas are out of stock in leading retailers.
In a statement posted on social media, Lidl Ireland said there was no way the 15-Piece Doll's House would arrive in stores on Monday, December 20.
The post read: "Unfortunately due to delivery issues beyond our control, the 15 piece set Doll's House due to go on sale Monday 20th December has been cancelled."

However, the statement continued by saying; "The 39 piece set Doll's House will still be on sale from Monday!”
Lidl has been running into supply issues for a number of months now with many middle aisle items not making it to sale due to problems with delivery.
But they are not alone, as many Irish retailers have been warning people over the Christmas period on shortages of toys in particular.
Smyths Toys Ireland began issuing toy shortage alerts weeks back, urging customers to shop early for Christmas due to global shipping issues and container shortages.
A Smyths Toys Ireland spokeswoman said: "Smyths Toys advises you to shop early for Christmas.
"This is always a good idea so as to avoid the rush and to avoid disappointment.
"It is particularly important to shop early this year as global shipping and container shortages are causing supply issues in many parts of our lives.
"We encourage you to sign up to our catalogue now or drop instore from 24th September to pick up your FREE 300 page Smyths Toys catalogue.
"This will give you the time to make those key gift decisions."
