What’s Going To Happen
On a four-game winning streak, it’s must-win time for a Liberty team that’s not going to know its home field again until after Thanksgiving.
The Flames have four straight road games after this, but first they have to get by a decent Maine team that pushed Georgia Southern earlier in the year and have the passing game to keep the game alive.
However, the Black Bears don’t have the run defense to handle their former teammate Josh Mack. The Flames’ leading rusher is coming up with yards in bursts, the passing game is clicking enough to be okay, and they’re overcoming their problems with a whole slew of takeaways.
It won’t be a layup, but Liberty will get a win before enjoying life on the road for a month.
