Liberty Poole and Brad McClelland have sparked hopes among Love Island fans that they might couple up after they were spotted looking cosy together at a birthday bash.
Liberty was once favourite to win the 2021 series of Love Island after she was paired with 24-year-old Jake Cornish.
But their relationship – and dreams of winning – came crashing down in the final days of the series after video clips shared with the Islanders revealed Jake may have been manipulating others in an effort to win the show, while his own comments about Liberty’s appearance provoked doubts in her mind.
But with Jake out of the way, Love Island fans are now hoping she might untie with hunk 26-year-old Brad after he was seen posing close beside her at her 22nd birthday celebrations in London this week.
The pair were beaming as they posed inside Jib Bo Law rooftop bar in the capital – with Brad’s arm around the petite blonde.
Taking to Instagram to share the image, alongside a number of others, Liberty wrote: “Thanks to everyone for making my 22nd the best birthday ever! all love always.”
Brad reacted to the photo, writing in the comment section: “What a night, from the views to the company everything was [100 emoji].”
Brad was one of the early evictees of Love Island this year – choosing to vote himself off following a savage twist that saw him and Lucinda Strafford facing the chop and having to decide between themselves who should stay and who should go.
While Brad and 21-year-old Lucinda were spotted on dates once they were both back in the UK, last month it appeared things had cooled as Lucinda was seen getting close to fellow dumped Danny Bibby after reportedly blanking Brad at an event.
While Brad made no secret of his love of blonde women during his time in the Love Island villa.
Fans are now hopeful that the two singletons might find love outside of the reality show and away from the rolling cameras.
Reacting to Liberty’s birthday snaps on Instagram, one excitable fan gushed in the comments section: “You two should of been a couple... somethings going on here… SEEEEERIOUSLY needs to happen!... you two should absolutely couple up... You two make complete sense…”
Another concurred, writing: “I thought exactly the same... You and lib look so good together... go get her… she’s a jem... yepppp 100% agree…”
Another wrote: “you would make the perfect couple…” and a further fan agreed, writing: “perfect couple in every way make it happen Brad.”
While another suggested Brad had a duty to the nation to date Liberty, writing: “do it for your country fire couple.”
Addressing Brad’s own reaction, another fan encouraged him to take action, writing: “Don't think your talking about the city views. Get @libertypoolex on a date... how cute would you both look together @libertypoolex ?? just sayin !!”
