Liberal MP Laming apologises to two women

Liberal MP Andrew Laming has apologised to two women who accused him of verbally abusing them. (AAP)

Liberal MP Andrew Laming has apologised to two Brisbane women who accused him of verbal abuse.

Dr Laming has conceded he caused significant distress to two respected members of his federal electorate.

He has written to both women to express regret and apologise.

"I want to retract those comments and issue an unreserved public apology," the Queensland MP said in a statement on Thursday.
