Libby Squire suspect in court on unrelated offences of outraging public decency, voyeurism and burglary

A Polish butcher arrested over the disappearance of university student Libby Squire was remanded in custody today charged with unrelated offences.

Pawel Relowicz, 24, from Hull, has been charged with outraging public decency, voyeurism and burglary.

He was arrested on suspicion of abduction on Wednesday night in connection with Miss Squire's disappearance and police said he "remains under investigation".

On Monday, he appeared in the dock at Hull Magistrates’ Court charged with offences that included committing an indecent act in public and stealing sex toys, underwear, condoms, photographs and computer equipment.

Three counts of burglary relate to incidents reported between December 2017 and January 2019.

The charge of outraging public decency relates to an incident in Hull on January 19, 2019, while the count of voyeurism relates to an incident on December 26, 2018, in the same city.

Relowicz, of Raglan Street, entered not guilty pleas to all charges during a brief appearance in court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Hull Crown Court on March 11.

Ms Squire, 21, was on a night out when she disappeared near her home in Hull ten days ago. An intensive search has been conducted by police since that time.
