It was one of the hit dramas of 2017 and Liar returns on Monday, March 2 with a brand new series.
The new episodes see everyone asking 'what happened to Andrew Earlham?'
Earlham, played by Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, raped Laura Nielson - Downton Abbey's Joanna Froggatt - and we saw his full colours exposed as the series went on.
In series two the quest is on to find out who murdered Earlham and Gruffudd appears again via flashbacks. Coronation Street's Katherine Kelly appears as new character Detective Inspector Karen Renton who will lead the investigation as the search for the truth and Andrew's killer begins.

What happened in Liar series one?
Teacher Laura Nielson (Froggatt) agrees to go on a date with surgeon Andrew Earlham, who drops her off at home after their date.
Earlham goes in to order a taxi as his phone is dead.
The action moves to the next morning when Laura realises that the doctor has drugged and raped her.
Insisting that the sex was consensual, the case against Earlham is dropped by the police. This does not stop Laura pursuing the truth and finally halfway through series one a flashback shows us that she was drugged and raped.
In a disturbing twist Earlham then drugs and rapes DI Harmon - the police officer who believed Laura's allegations of rape.
Without enough evidence for charges to stick the timeline moves on three months and Laura tries to get on with her life. But she is stopped in her tracks when she sees Andrew continuing his spree against women.
Laura then uncovers recordings Earlham had made of his disgusting attacks and his son, Luke, realises the truth.
With a warrant out for his arrest Earlham is revealed to be on the run. In a shocking final scene the camera pans upwards and we see his dead body floating in the marshes.
