LiAngelo Ball lands with Pistons — 3 things to know about the signing

It appears that all three Ball brothers could be in the NBA next year.

LiAngelo Ball signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the Detroit Pistons this week. The news was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, then confirmed by Ball’s father, LaVar.

LiAngelo has bounced around in his professional basketball career. The 22-year-old shooting guard played professionally in Lithuania, then played with the Los Angeles Ballers in his father’s JBA league. This past year, Ball signed with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League, but wasn’t able to feature due to the season being cancelled due to COVID-19.
