Liam Smith is back home in Liverpool for the first time in three years tonight as he takes on Sam Eggington.
The former WBO super-welterweight champion is back on the title hunt having linked up with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing.
The Liverpudlian fell just short fighting for that belt against Jaime Munguia in Las Vegas last summer, losing on an unanimous decision in what was just the second defeat of his career - the first coming against the devastating Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Eggington is yet to take the step beyond European level but hopes a victory over a former world champion can thurst him into the world title picture.
