Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw has arrived at Fir Park to complete his season-long loan move to Motherwell.
St Johnstone were hoping to arrange a deal for the Englishman this month but they've been beaten to the punch by Well boss Graham Alexander.
Former Sheffield Wednesday ace Shaw joined Celtic over the summer after agreeing a four-year contract.
But the 20-year-old midfielder has found it hard to impress Ange Postecoglou so far and is yet to even rack up 90 minutes of action for the Parkhead side.
His only appearances are a 65-minute Europa League run out against Real Betis and a late cameo off the bench in last month's St Mirren stalemate in Paisley.
And the January arrivals of Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi and Daizen Maeda mean there are likely to be even fewer opportunities for the versatile Englishman in the second half of the season.
But he is hoping to see more game time after agreeing to join up with Alexander's Steelmen for the remainder of the season.
