Liam Payne’s son Bear named sole heir to singer’s multi-million pound fortune

  • Liam Payne's son, Bear, aged nine, has reportedly been named the sole beneficiary of the late pop star's $29m (£21.9m) estate.
  • The former One Direction star died on 16 October 2024, aged 31, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • Court documents cited by People magazine confirm Bear as the sole inheritor, with the majority of the funds to be held in a trust until he turns 18.
  • Payne's estate was initially valued at £28.6m but was reduced to £24.3m after expenses and debts were settled following his passing.
  • Bear's mother, singer Cheryl, was appointed as the administrator of Payne's estate in May 2025, seven months after his death without leaving a will, alongside music lawyer Richard Bray.
