Liam Payne has shared his happiness at being engaged to 20-year-old Maya Henry.
The One Direction star, 27, recently confirmed reports that he popped the question to the beauty and now has given an interview about being a betrothed gent.
Proving that the hitmaker - who shares son Bear with ex Cheryl - is over the moon to be a fiancé, the pop sensation gushed about his wife-to-be on an appearance on American talk show Good Morning America.
The lovestruck musician told: "We’re just really happy!"
He then went on to detail how the week has been busy with a number of new experiences, as he added:"I mean, in the last week, I’ve just had a birthday, my son has gone to school for the first time today, so it seems like a lot of firsts for me, really, actually, which is great."
Liam asked Maya - who has been his girlfriend for two-years - to marry him by presenting her with a £3million sparkler.
For months, the lovebirds kept their romance pretty low-key within celebrity circles.
When first spotted out together in August 2018, Liam was still dealing with his very public split from his long-term love Cheryl.
The hitmaker has previously shared that meeting Texan native Maya helped him mend his heart after he split from Cheryl,
He added: "Something really hurt me and it kind of made me appreciate love and people a lot more, for the longest time, living such an exposed life made dating really hard.
"I've found someone who's genuinely my best friend, she's just so relaxed about everything and someone who's completely got your back with everything is just the wildest thing."
