Liam Payne has revealed an epic transformation to fans after heading to the barbers to cut off his long locks.
The 27-year-old One Direction heartthrob, who has been growing his hair throughout the lockdown, decided to book himself in for more than a trim this week.
Taking to social media, Liam revealed to fans that he had opted for a shorter, more recognisable 'do that had been styled into an edgy quiff.
"Thanks, @lukebensonhair," he added alongside the post.
While many fans flocked to the comment section on Twitter to share their approval about his post-lockdown transformation, others said they would 'miss' his longer locks.

"End of an era. We will miss your Jesus Liam hair. Thank you for your service. Gone but never forgotten," joked one follower.
"RIP Liam's quarantine hair," penned another.
A third wrote: "Liam, I dedicate the song " Miss You" by Louis Tomlinson to the era of your long hair."

"it was the best era ever...bye," added a fourth.
His latest look comes shortly after he was pictured for the first time in months sporting bedraggled long locks and beard.
In the snaps, the musician was spotted leaving rehearsals for his upcoming "augmented reality" performance at the BAFTAs ceremony.
As well as completely transforming his appearance in recent months, it appears that Liam has also grown closer to his ex-girlfriend Cheryl, with whom he shares son Bear, four.

Liam is happily engaged to his partner Maya Henry, but continues to co-parent with Cheryl and often FaceTimes the duo.
He told Glamour : "Cheryl is literally the best person to co-parent with. No stress involved. It's very, very relaxed, and we spend a lot of time on FaceTime.
"And it's been really lovely, and I'm closer to them than I've ever been before, actually, which is really, really nice.
