Liam Payne parties with "Happy Sexy Millionaire" in Manchester

When one of the world's biggest stars Liam Payne headed out to party with a man hailed the "Happy Sexy Millionaire" it was always going to be a big night out in Manchester.

And it sounds like One Direction heart-throb Liam and new Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett had a whale of a time in the city centre on Saturday night.

The pals were spotted at an assortment of Manchester's swankiest venues - including at hip new restaurant Yours on Deansgate.

They also managed to squeeze in a spot of bowling, with Liam taking to his instagram stories to share a video of Steven making very, very clear that he had beaten everyone with some impressive scores.

In the video, Happy Sexy Millionaire author Steven is seen saying: "Me and Liam played three games of bowls and I beat him. 20 points higher on average than everybody. Champion!"

Liam, 27, laughed: "Yeah he did beat me at bowling."

Liam and Steven posed up for pictures at the stylish new Yours restaurant, in the venue's selfie corridor which features the incredible artwork of Manchester's based artist Boogie Moli.

The new restaurant is the brainchild of Club Liv boss Mo Mohamud, who also posed for a quick snap with the chaps (pictured above).

The Yours venue only opened for the first time to the public last week, yet has already been visited by a host of showbiz stars, including international singing star Miguel who headed there in between filming new BBC show The Drop.

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra and Love Island's Tommy Fury are also among those who have been spotted checking out the new Deansgate restaurant which boasts a menu of pan-Asian cuisine.

One Direction star Liam recently joined Steve to appear on his hit business podcast "Diary of a CEO".

Steven, who was recently announced as a new member of BBC's Dragon's Den panel, became a millionaire at the age of just 25 after the success of his Manchester-based company Social Chain.

Since then he has become a champion for finding fulfilment in the right places - and has had a Sunday Times bestseller with his tome "Happy Sexy Millionaire".

In the book the 28-year-old dispels the myths that money helps you to find happiness.

In the intro to the book, Steven writes: "As an 18-year-old, black, broke, lonely, insecure, university drop-out, from a bankrupt family, I wrote in my diary that I wanted to be a 'Happy Sexy Millionaire' by the age of 25.

"By 25 I was a multi-millionaire having created a business worth over $300m dollars.

"Ironically, in achieving everything I set out to, I learnt that I was wrong about almost everything... The world had lied to me.

"It lied to me about how you attain fulfilment, love and success, why those things matter, and what those words actually mean."

Liam, meanwhile has been busy working on his new solo material, and is said to be working on a track for the new Disney movie Ron's Gone Wrong.

He was also spotted at Manchester's Ivy restaurant over the weekend, and is thought to be staying with Steven to watch the big England game on Sunday.

England kick off their Euro 2020 campaign against Croatia at 2pm.
