Liam Payne had high praise for his "amazing" ex Cheryl in a special Mother's Day tribute.
The singer, 26, expressed his gratitude to his ex for showing their son Bear, just three, all the love in the world in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday.
In the telling post, the Bedroom Floor hitmaker called his former flame a "special lady" for helping him raise his young son while he chases his dreams of being a pop star.
The former One Direction star also thanked his mother for raising him "right" in the touching message directed to both his mum and his ex Cheryl.
He wrote: "Double special day today thanks to 2 very special ladies and a very special little man... Happy Mother's Day mum and Cheryl.
"You two are the most amazing mothers Bear and I could have asked for, thanks for raising me right and thank you Cheryl for showing my son all the love in the world."
Also, the dad-of-one shared a few words on his son's third birthday.
Proud Liam enthused his son had brought him endless "life and joy" with his surprises.
"Happy birthday little man! 3 already I can't believe it.
"It's amazing watching you grow and you surprise me constantly, it really seems like yesterday I was holding you for the first time, thank you for bringing life and joy to my world.
"I hope I can do the same."
Recently, Liam split from his girlfriend Maya Henry after six months of romance.
Prior to their break up, the hunk had hailed his model girlfriend for making him happier than ever.
However, it's said his busy commitments made it difficult for the couple to see each other.
In early March, they were spotted together once again sparking rumours they could get back together.
But nothing appeared to have materialised.
Rumours had been flying Cheryl and Liam had been planning to reconnect over Bear's birthday.
