The One Direction hunk, 25, was spotted heading into a restaurant in Berlin where he joined Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell.
An onlooker claimed the pair arrived at the Grill Royal separately but sat next to each other at their table, where they were joined by a small party.
A source told The Sun : “They’re both similar ages and bonded over their experiences in showbiz.
“They were seen deep in thought at the dinner and were clearly having a good time. Who knows where this could lead?”
Bisexual model Stella, 28, is thought to be currently single after splitting with Twilight actress Kristen Stewart in December.
Liam and Stella also both attended Coachella music festival on the same weekend.

The pair arrived and left separately – a pattern that became routine while they spent time together.
Rumours about the couple’s romance first took off when Liam flirted on a snap posted to Naomi’s Instagram account.

He commented: “Perfection in a person…don’t give me those eyes.”
Naomi wrote the words “Beautiful soul” alongside a picture of shirtless Liam.
Liam then replied: “Takes one to know one,” and sealed it with a kiss emoji.
