Liam Payne sparked a furious backlash from bisexual fans after he ‘fetishised’ those who sleep with both men and women.
The 26-year-old former One Direction star left fans shocked and appalled as he released his debut album on Friday featuring a song called Both Ways that has lyrics about bisexuality.
Liam - who shares a son named Bear with former Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy, 36 - wrote lyrics that detail a threesome between a man and two women.
He sings: “Lovin' the way that she's turning you on/Switching the lanes like a Bugatti Sport/ Nothing but luck that she got me involved, yeah/Flipping that body, go head, I go tails/Sharing that body like it's our last meal.”

Reaction to the song has been strong - with a negative response being recorded from even the most devout One Direction fans.
“As a bisexual woman, it was extremely uncomfortable reading the lyrics to ‘both ways’ by liam payne,” one horrified fan began as they shared their views on Twitter.
“He openly fetishizes the fact that a woman likes boys and girls, and he even mentions bi women in threesomes which furthers the stereotype that all bi ppl are only into that,” the fan continued.

“I have no words. i genuinely expected better from someone like liam payne, but the fact that he is adding to the constant stereotypes and the fetishism towards bi women is completely unacceptable. i am very disappointed @liampayne,” they added.
One livid fan seethed: "F*** you Liam Payne. We bisexuals are just trying to live out goddamn lives. It’s pretty degrading to be seen as only good for a threesome, only good for sexual pleasure. I’m tired of this s***."
Another outraged fan blasted: “I did not stan one direction for years just to see liam fetishise bisexual women #liampayneisoverparty.”
And another tweeted: “liam payne fetishised bisexual women in his new album after belittling men for showing any femininity… n e way stream adore you by harry styles.”
Liam has yet to comment on the controversy.
