Liam Neeson missed his mother Katherine's funeral in Northern Ireland on Monday, according to local reports.
The Taken actor, 67, lost his beloved mum Katherine "Kitty" Neeson on Saturday, just one day before his birthday.
Mother-of-four Kitty died aged 94 at a nursing home after being ill for some months.
It's believed Liam had every intention to make the journey from New York to Ballymena to lay her to rest amid the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
But the Taken main star appeared to have been unable to make the long trip for reasons unknown as there were no signs of him at the funeral, according to The Belfast Telegraph.

The funeral itself was strictly private as only close friends and family members could attend.
Liam's sisters Elizabeth and Bernadette were among the close family present at the ceremony.
Social distancing was in place as around 100 mourners paid their respects to Kitty in the streets.

News of Kitty’s death was announced during a mass at All Saints Church in Ballymena, Northern Ireland which was broadcast over Facebook on Saturday.
The religious service was broadcast online to allow worshippers to take part in accordance with social distancing and coronavirus lockdown measures.

Hollywood star Liam is a Freeman of the borough where Kitty lived.
Kitty married school caretaker Bernard "Barney" Neeson and they had four children together- their Hollywood actor son Liam as well as daughters Elizabeth, Bernadette and Rosaleen.
Kitty’s passing comes 11 years after the tragic death of Liam’s wife and actress Natasha Richardson.

The star sadly died aged 45 following a skiing accident in 2009.
Liam had sons Micheál, 24, and Daniel, 23, with his late wife.
The Mirror has approached Liam Neeson's representatives for further comment.
