Liam Neeson sparked outrage on Monday after he recounted a shocking story about how a friend’s rape left him with a desire to “kill a black b******”.
In an interview with The Independent, Neeson explained that he roamed the streets with a cosh after learning of the attack, “hoping some black b****** would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him.”
The interview, which occurred during a junket for his new film Cold Pursuit, immediately gained worldwide attention and condemnation for his previous remarks.
The Hollywood star is set to explain his controversial comments on Good Morning America today.
