Liam Hendry murder trial told how witness found injured teen on Glasgow road

A woman told a murder trial she found a teenage boy lying in the street on the day he was allegedly mown down and killed.

Roxanne Maxwell, 32, discovered Liam Hendry, 18, close to Celtic Park on September 29, 2019.

The carer told the High Court in Glasgow that Dean Wright and Robert Farrell came to her home earlier that morning and took cocaine and drank beer.

She said they left shortly after. Roxanne then recalled hearing “screaming” outside.

It is alleged Wright, 32, and Farrell, 33, killed Liam after driving at and hitting him in a van while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.

It is alleged “on two further occasions” attempts were made to drive over Liam.

The pair deny the charges.
