Liam Hemsworth has returned to social media for the first time since filing for divorce from Miley Cyrus and he has a 'special announcement'.
The 29-year-old Australian actor posted on Instagram for the first time since his split from Miley is set for the divorce courts.
It is also the first time he has had a presence on social media since sharing a statement on his separation.
Liam has moved on from Miley this time and returned to promoting his work by sharing details of Killerman, a gritty thriller which will see his return to the big screen.
He wrote alongside a still from the movie: "Excited to announce a movie I worked on called Killerman will be released in the USA on August 30th.
“I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone did on it. It was an absolute honor to work with my friend Emory Cohen again, one of my favorite actors, Malik Bader, an extremely creative and intelligent director, and the brilliant Ken Seng for his work as Director of Photography.”
The photo shows Liam dripping in fake blood and he acknowledges how much effort has gone into producing the movie.
He continued: "Blood, sweat and tears were shed from all who were involved.
“Independent film making is always a tough thing to pull off and I just want to thank all the hard-working people who helped make it happen.”
Liam will star as Moe Diamond, who is a money launderer in New York. He wakes up from a car crash with no memory as to why he has millions in stolen cash and drugs.
He soon finds that 'dirty cops' are after him and are looking violent vengeance.
Previous to this post, Liam addressed his split from Miley for the only time in public.
He posted a pic of a sun setting over a beach and captioned it: "Hi all, just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”
A couple days later, Liam filed for divorce in the wake of pics appearing of Miley kissing 'special friend' Kaitlynn Carter, while they were on holiday in Italy.
