Liam Gallagher has confirmed a special intimate homecoming show for September, with support from Sam Fender.
The Radio X Presents gig will take place on Liam's birthday - Saturday September 21 - at Manchester's O2 Ritz.
The show will fall the day after Liam releases his second solo album, Why Me? Why Not, which follows on from his platinum-certified solo debut As You Were.
The last time Liam played at the O2 Ritz was the week after the Manchester Arena attack, with 22 candles surrounding him on stage to represent the 22 lives lost.
It's an incredibly intimate choice of venue for a musician who is already selling out an arena tour for later in the year, which will take him to Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Liverpool.
Meanwhile Sam Fender, winner of the Critics' Choice Award at the BRIT Awards, has already sold out a night at the Manchester Academy for November.
His debut album Hypersonic Missiles will be freshly released ahead of the gig, due to drop on September 13.
Fender has established a connection with Oasis already by performing a cover of Morning Glory during his latest UK tour.
Tickets for Liam Gallagher and Sam Fender's gig at the O2 Ritz will go on sale at 9am on Friday August 30, from radiox.co.uk
A limited number of tickets will be available through an exclusive Radio X pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday August 28, for those subscribed to the Radio X Access All Areas email newsletter.
