Liam Gallagher says he wanted to 'break Noel's jaw' over new documentary - but is still hopeful for an Oasis reunion

The Gallagher brothers have made no secret of their in-fighting over the years and no more so than Liam .

So his latest swipe at his sibling comes as no surprise.

Liam was speaking to Sky News at the world premiere of his new documentary film 'As It Was', which documents 'the musical comeback of the decade' as he returned to the spotlight as a solo artist following Oasis' split in 2009.

But superfans of the rock 'n' roll star will spot an absence in the film.

It features none of the tracks that catapulted the Manchester band to super stardom as Noel reportedly refused to give Liam permission to use them - and as the band's main songwriter, he does have the authority.

And Liam still isn't happy.

On the red carpet at London's Alexandra Palace for the first screening, he said: "Him and his little people saw it and took the Oasis music out of it because that's all he's got left, d'ya know what I mean.

"Let him get on with it.

"It doesn't make me sad, it makes me f****** mad. I'm not a p****, I'm not sad about it, I want to break his f****** jaw and his daft f****** manager, but that's what happens.

"I'm not sad about it, I didn't go home and cry, I just wanted to go and f****** put their windows through."

Feisty words from the Burnage native but he is still hopeful for an Oasis reunion claiming his 'bags are packed' if it should ever happen.

Maybe he needs to not look back in anger over this (sorry - we couldn't resist).

The film is released in cinemas on June 7, the same day Noel plays a huge homecoming gig in Manchester's Heaton Park.
