Liam Gallagher says brother Noel is trying to gag his Twitter account

Liam Gallagher has called out his brother for trying to 'shut down' his Twitter account, as Noel slammed his sibling's social media rants for the reason behind the lack of Oasis reunion.

Just yesterday Noel rubbished the idea of the band getting back together after he claimed every message his brother posts to Twitter is a ‘nail in the coffin’ of a potential reunion.

Rock and Roll star Liam, 47, has taken to Twitter today to claim that Noel's next move is to try and get his Twitter account removed.

The former Oasis frontman told his 3.2 millions followers: "So news reaches me from a far that team NG are trying to get me shut down on twitter coz they don’t like my tweets.

"Did dums good luck you little fart c’mon you know LG x."

The Mancunian brothers have been infamously embroiled in an intense sibling feud since Oasis dramatically split up in 2009.

Despite Liam's recent attempt for a Britpop comeback, Noel has insisted he would not get back on stage with his "moron" brother.

Liam continued to take a swipe at his brother on Twitter, following his suspicions that Noel was trying to get his account take down.

He added: "Trying to divide and conquer NEVER gonna happen mate you’ve blown it the people have got your number x."

Liam's social media war against his brother comes after he allegedly sent threatening messages to his sister-in-law Sara MacDonald.

Noel, defending his wife, said his brother’s comments were destroying any chance of an Oasis reunion.

The High Flying Birds star recently told The Big Issue: "It’s strange behaviour for someone who is gagging for me to pick up the phone and say let’s do it.

'He’d put his whole life on hold to get Oasis back together."

Addressing his brother directly, the 52-year-old added: "If you think for one minute I am going to share a stage with you after what you’ve said you are f****** more of a moron than you look."

The brothers have had a long and rough history with a series of heated rows. Since then, they've pursued different projects.

The former Oasis stars have been at each other's throats for years, but the spat heated up again recently over Molly - Liam's daughter with singer Lisa Moorish.

Numerous reports claimed the reunion infuriated Noel and Sara as they have been close to Molly for years and she's now shunning them to hang out with Liam.

Liam and Noel conquered the music world together in the 1990s.

The Manchester pair’s band, Oasis, sold more than 75 million records thanks to hits such as Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger

Despite their ongoing war of words, Liam says dad-of-three Noel and wife Sara will get an invite to his wedding with Debbie Gwyther next year.

Liam said he will invite Noel – but previously admits it is only because "me mam told me to".

Mirror Online has contacted Noel Gallagher's representatives for comment.
