Jacob Handley, 24, collects Adidas trainers and travelled from Chesterfield for the event.

He said: "I love Liam Gallagher, so it's a no brainer.

"I'm definitely keeping them, I won't sell them.

"It's something to keep hold of, it will be one to look back at in the future."

Liam announced the collaboration in a video on his Instagram page.

In the clip Adidas Spezial designer Gary Aspden can be seen handing over a pair to a clearly delighted Liam in his dressing room before a gig in London.

"That is f****** smart though innit," he says, before describing himself as the 'Best looking motherf***** on the p-lanet' and the new Adidas as the 'Best looking f******  trainers on the planet'.

It's based on the Padiham Spzl, a cult trainer among Adidas fans.

Liam's face is stamped on the tongue, in a similar fashion to the brand's iconic Stan Smith trainers.

"He liked the silhouette of the Padiham SPZL on the whole but said he wanted it to look neutral and understated.

"Liam gave comments on each sample until the final version which we held off on showing him until we presented them to him for the first time backstage at his gig in Hackney.

"We filmed that moment as we wanted to capture his honest reaction. Anyone who has worn the three stripes loyally for as long as he has will understand that excitement."
