Liam Gallagher's foul-mouthed Alan Davies rant after comedian slammed "cheating" Man City

Former Oasis star and Manchester City supporter Liam Gallagher has slammed Alan Davies in foul-mouthed fashion on social media.

Gallagher was responding to Davies’ sensational rant about Pep Guardiola’s side, after the reigning Premier League champions overcame the comedian’s favourite side Arsenal in dramatic fashion.

Rodri’s dramatic last minute winner against Mikel Arteta’s side prompted a furious rant from the QI and Jonathan Creek star, who told the Citizens to “get out of our league!”

Their victory against the Gunners means they have opened up a ten-point lead over second-placed Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

And Gallagher launched a vicious, foul-mouthed, Twitter assault on Davies shortly after his podcast.

“Alan Davies you need to f*** off to another C***RY 1 where they ain’t got a sense of humour you'll fit rite in you un funny s****bubble MCFC LG x,” Gallagher tweeted.

Rodri’s dramatic strike broke the hearts of a resilient Arsenal side who had played the majority of the second half with only ten men.

The Gunners took the lead through a wonderful, sweeping finish from Bukayo Saka, before Riyad Mahrez replied with a penalty for City.

Gabriel Magalhaes was then given his marching orders for two bookable offences, after bring down Gabriel Jesus on the half-way line.

Arteta’s side dug in and defended well, but were downed right at the death when Rodri slid home a finish to steal the points in the 93rd minute.

And a passionate, and perhaps still upset Davies launched into a furiously passionate rant about his hatred and dis-like of Manchester City.

"There is a stink of Manchester City in our league and I just wish this mob had bought a club in another league,” Davies said on his podcast The Tuesday Club.

"Go buy Borussia Monchengladbach, take them past Bayern Munich to the top of... whatever their league's called, just do that... the Bundesliga.

"Do that, go buy someone else. Get out of our league. We do not want your money.

"Don't pretend you are playing great stuff and Guardiola's a genius and this is amazing, we're so privileged to see you... get out of our league.

"You're not wanted here. You're not wanted. Sell up and leave. You've had your fun, go away. No one wants the oil b****** money, no one wants to see this."

Rodri and the rest of the City stars erupted in celebration, right in front of a despondent and angry Arsenal crowd.

While delirious City fans celebrated in one corner off the pitch, Guardiola’s stars ended up celebrating on the other side, where a furious Gunners crowd were helplessly watching.

And in the midst of his takedown of City, Davies turned his anger on £100m summer signing Jack Grealish, describing the England ace as a “£100m moron”.

"You have a £100m moron gurning away on the bench, grinning at Arsenal fans basically taking the p*** out of us... who's happy because he can't get in the side, you're not even playing!"

"You've ruined your career, Grealish! "Why don't they sell up and leave? Can we have a vote? All 19 clubs, have a vote, get out ... and play somewhere else."
