Liam Gallagher's Belfast gig rescheduled for 2021 at a new venue

Liam Gallagher has confirmed a rescheduled date for his Belfast show which will now take place at a new venue.

The singer-songwriter had been due to perform at Belfast Vital in 2020 at Boucher Road Playing Fields on August 19 but due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic the gig has now been rescheduled to 2021.

His 2021 Belfast show will now take place at Belsonic on June 30, at Ormeau Park with IDLES confirmed as his special guests.

Gallagher's eagerly anticipated second album ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ is out now and the reaction to the lead single  ‘Shockwave’  was massive. It shot straight to the top of the Official Vinyl and Trending Charts, in the process underlining Liam’s status as a rock star who speaks to new and established fans alike.

Liam Gallagher released his debut solo album, “ As You Were ”, on 06 October 2017 which went straight to Number 1 in the UK & Ireland. In the UK, the album was one of the biggest albums of the year, having exceeded 100,000 first week sales and out-selling the rest of the Top 20 combined. It is the UK’s biggest selling vinyl of the past 20 years.

Remaining tickets for his 2021 show are on sale now via Ticketmaster, anyone with tickets for his Vital gig will still remain valid for the rescheduled date.
