Liam Gallagher reacts to Man City's 2020/21 'leaked' third kit... and his response is as bizarre as ever

Liam Gallagher has responded to Manchester City's 2020/2021 'leaked' third kit on Twitter.

And as you would expect, the mouthy Oasis rocker didn’t exactly keep his response PG.

In a tweet, Liam said: "Who ever is responsible for that new Man City kit needs putting on the nxt flight to WUHAN and who ever buys it needs to be on the 1 after c’mon you should f***ing know LG x"

In response to a fan asking whether he likes the kit, the renowned City fan then replied: "Keep it simple mate, it's not hard."

City's new third kit for next season was 'leaked online', with many fans not happy with the white and light blue paisley design.

The paisley pattern had been rumoured, but up until yesterday (May 21) there had not been any images of how it would look on the actual shirt.

FootyHeadlines  claim to have an image of  City's  new third strip, produced by Puma, with the 'Whisper White' & 'Peacoat' colours.

The website quotes Puma as saying: "Manchester’s music scene has always been an influence on other bands worldwide.

"The iconic TV program “Top of the Pops” was run by the BBC, from 1964 – 2006, originally recorded in the city itself.

"The Man City 20-21 third kit takes inspiration from the Paisley floral pattern which was intrinsically associated to the “Brit Pop” music scene of the 1960s and 1990s."

Other 'leaked' designs for the 2020/21 kits include a cracked white and blue design for the home shirt and a navy away shirt with patterns that nod to Manchester's industrial past.

As the 'leaked' images of shirt circulated online, fans took to Twitter to react to what was widely considered a poor effort following on from this season's eye-catching yellow and pink third shirt.

However, some felt the design would age well.

Nora tweeted: "Just cancel next season."

Dante said: "Can we just go back to the 17/18 kits they were just simple and beautiful."

Robbie tweeted: "This is one of those shirts that people hate at the time but in 10-20 years people will be scrambling to get a hold of."
