Liam Gallagher praises Cork fans after standing out in the rain at his gig

Liam Gallagher praises Cork crowd after an Irish gig over the weekend.

The Manchester native took to the stage in Cork on Sunday evening where those watching the show were hit by heavy rainfall.

The bad weather didn’t stop the fans from enjoying the concert and they didn’t seem to mind getting drenched during the performance.

The Oasis star took to Twitter to share his appreciation for the Cork crowd describing them as ‘biblical’.

He said: “Cork you were biblical lastnight if the rain comes they run and hide there heads do they fuck c’mon you know WHY ME?WHY NOT. LG x.”

Liam played in Cork in the midst of a number of concerts this week with Hozier playing tonight and Ms Lauryn Hill performing on Wednesday.

Former band mate and brother Noel Gallagher also performed in Ireland last week playing Malahide Castle with new group Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

Liam revealed in his new documentary that a music session in a Co. Mayo pub is what inspired him to continue making music after the Oasis break up.
