Liam Gallagher is convinced that a mansion where he was recording was haunted.
The ex-Oasis star, 49, freaked out and demanded a different room after furniture was moved.
Liam says: “I go to bed, wake up in the morning and all the furniture is moved round.
“I go downstairs going ‘Look, it must be f***ing haunted, I’ve got to change room’.
"I don’t remember much recording, just s***ing me pants because it was haunted.”
The story is included in new book Supersonic which has interviews with all the band at the time.
Guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs remembers the haunted studio too.
He says: “One of the staff says ‘So, who’s sleeping in Room Three?’
Liam replies ‘That’s me’. ‘Alright’, came the reply ‘You got the haunted one then’.
“We were just like ‘What are you on about? A ghost?’ And she was like ‘Yeah, real ghosts’.”
Oasis had paid £800 a day to use 11-bedroom Monnow Valley Studio near Monmouth, South Wales, in the autumn of 1993.
They laid down Supersonic and Rock ’n’ Roll Star but the results weren’t what they wanted and they hired another producer and finished the recordings in Cornwall.
Both tracks were included on Definitely Maybe, the fastest-selling UK debut album of all time.
