Oasis icon Liam Gallagher slams Leeds United as 'f**king sh**e' in playful dig at the club

Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has taken at aim at Leeds United by calling them ‘f**king sh**e’.

We think the dig is all firmly tongue-in-cheek but nonetheless this is what the Britpop singer has said about Yorkshire football clubs.

In a scene during his new documentary, As It Was, Gallagher, 47, talks about his love for tea - particularly Yorkshire Tea.

Gallagher tells his son Gene: “PG Tips is like a football team that was mega, went down to the first division and it can't get back into the Premiership.

"It's a little bit the opposite way around with the Yorkshire Tea, they got great tea, but their teams are f*cking sh*te."

Now, that opinion doesn’t reflect well on Leeds United but we do know Gallagher has a soft spot for Leeds United.

Earlier this year, Gallagher did tell some Leeds fans he wanted them to be promoted to the Premier League to face his beloved Manchester City.

Although, brother Noel has been less complimentary as he previously called the club ‘sh***y’ during an appearance at Leeds First Direct Arena.
