Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher has heaped praise on Dublin band Aslan, labelling frontman Christy Dignam a "dude".
The Britpop legend also revealed that his partner Debbie Gwyther is a huge fan of the veteran northside rockers.
And the delighted 'This Is' hitmakers were quick to thank Liam for his glowing tribute and invited him to one of their shows this year.
'Shockwave' singer Liam took to Twitter on Saturday to ask fans who should support him at his massive homecoming gig in Heaton Park, Manchester this June.
One fan responded to ask Liam what he thought of Christy being pictured wearing clothes from the younger Gallagher's fashion label, Pretty Green.
He said: "Liam what do you think of Christy Dignam (lead singer of aslan) wearing some pretty green?"
The outspoken superstar responded by calling Chirsty a "dude" and revealing that Debbie is a massive fan.
He said: "I’ve heard he’s [a] dude my Mrs loves his band."
Fans of both acts quickly responded begging for the Finglas five-piece to play support at one of Liam's shows.
One fan said: "Next time your playing in Dublin get Aslan on the stage Liam. Come on make it happen."
Another added: "Aslan for a support slot. Trust me your fans will LOVE this."
While another speculated that Liam would do a great cover of the band's ever popular hit 'Crazy World'.
And Aslan themselves later replied inviting Liam to one of their shows this year.
They said: "We’ll be in different parts of the UK this year or if you are in Ireland... Give us a shout if you both fancy coming to one of them! Cheers Liam."
You can be sure Irish fans would absolutely love to see these two beloved artists share the same stage.
