Liam Gallagher congratulates Leeds United on Premier League promotion with swipe at Liverpool

It appears Liam Gallagher is not quite over the fact that Liverpool won the Premier League yet.

The singer, one half of the Gallagher brothers who made Oasis one of the most famous bands in the world, is a big Manchester City supporter.

And he, like everyone else, has had to watch on as Liverpool won their first ever Premier League title this season, steamrollering all the opposition to leave everyone in their wake.

Last season the Reds finished second behind Man City, just one point off the top, amassing a whopping 97 points and not winning the title.

City have been unable to get close to Jurgen Klopp's side this time around, however, with Liverpool claiming their first top flight win in 30 years.

But Gallagher is not willing to give Liverpool any credit for their title triumph.

Leeds United claimed promotion back to the Premier League on Friday thanks to West Brom's defeat at the hands of Huddersfield Town, and Gallagher wanted to congratulate Marcelo Bielsa's men for their achievement.

And he could not resist a swipe at Liverpool in the process.

In his first tweet he said: "Get your rocks of (sic) Leeds Utd."

And he followed that up with another, more derogatory one towards Liverpool.

He added: "Leeds Utd getting promotion ###### all over LFC wining there (sic) 1st PL title have you seen your mother baby standing in the shadows MCFC x."

We thought it would be best to hash out the rude word in there, but you get the picture.
