Liam Gallagher cancels gig after 'falling from helicopter'

Liam Gallagher has cancelled his Belsonic gig in Belfast after he reportedly fell out of a helicopter.

The artist was expected to perform in the city this Friday, September 24, at Ormeau Park.

He says the concert is no longer going ahead this weekend because he's 'bust his nose' after a helicopter incident and is therefore unable to sing.

The concert has been rescheduled for June 24, 2022.

Doctors have also apparently told Liam he needs to rest up.

The singer earlier told fans: "I fell out the helicopter" and "you couldn't [write] it."

In a statement released on Twitter on Tuesday morning, Liam said: "Absolutely gutted to cancel my Belfast show this weekend. I had an accident after IOW festival and have bust my nose so cant sing.

"The Doctors have told me to rest up. Apologies to all the people who has bought tickets.. the show is being rescheduled...I'll make it up to ya. LG x"

He previously posted a photo of his injuries with the caption: "Got the cover shot for Nxt album c’mon you nose LG x"

When a fan asked the former Oasis star how he fell out of a helicopter, he replied: "You tell me."
