Liam Gallagher has attacked his brother Noel for criticising the younger Oasis fans who attend his concerts.
In a tweet on Monday, Liam said he had a problem with ”slagging off” young people, in an apparent response to comments made last week by his sibling.
Noel previously told The Sun that the documentary Oasis: Supersonic, which came out in 2016, has ”reinvigorated a whole new fan base”.
“Sadly they all do turn up to the gigs dressed as Liam with four pairs of sunglasses on, rolling around going ‘I’m mad for it,’” Noel said. “The new stuff that I am doing they f****ing hate it. Which makes me want to do it more.”
Noel reportedly added: “You little f***ing idiot, you are only 15. What the f***.You were only ten when the band broke up. F*** off.”
In turn, Liam said on Twitter that all are welcome to attend his shows, in an apparent rebuttal of his brother’s comments.
“The thing I’ve got a problem with about slagging off the yoot is that some of those kids are the kids of people who made us from day one,” he wrote.
“You’re all welcome at my gigs bring your grandparents your aunties your uncles bring your pets as you were why me why not LG x”
Liam is about to release his second solo album, Why me? Why Not. on 20 September.
Noel, meanwhile, will release the EP This Is The Place with his band High Flying Birds on 27 September.
