Liam Cooper admits he has been getting stuck into Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson while training together with Scotland ahead of their Premier League clash.
Leeds United’s captain hopes to add to his two Scotland caps when they face Israel tonight and Czech Republic on Monday.
Meanwhile, time ticks down on the Whites’ return to the Premier League. Marcelo Bielsa’s side travel to Anfield in eight days, where Robertson will be waiting.
Cooper concedes United are well aware what a daunting prospect it is to face the champions, including who he describes as the best left-back in the world.

"It's about testing yourself against the best in the world and we have no better a start than playing the champions at Anfield,” he said.
"I am in camp with Robbo so I am getting stuck into him. We are under no illusions how good they are and Robbo is probably the best left-back in the world at the moment.
"He has got there through hard work and he is an example to everyone. Everything in life is worth working hard for and Robbo is a great example."
Cooper, naturally, also spoke about life with Scotland and what he hopes to achieve with Steve Clarke’s side while he is at his peak under Bielsa.
"It would be unbelievable to go to a Euros or a World Cup with Scotland,” he said. "It is every boy's dream to play in the Premier League and we've done it.
"With Scotland, I believe we have a squad strong enough to get to where we want to get under the manager.
"It won't be easy, but if we all pull in the same direction there is no reason why we can't do that."
He added: "I was 29 last Sunday and I feel like I am playing the best football of my career and I hope I can get every last ounce of potential out of myself over the coming years and prolong this peak.
"If you are happy in your club life you can definitely take it into your international team.
"There are a lot of players in the squad who have brought success to their clubs last year.
"There is some good morale around the place. We need to get the players bouncing and training hard and we can see where it takes us."
