Liam Burt is attracting interest from the English Championship after Celtic decided against taking up the option of a second year on his contract.
The midfielder had been at the centre of a social media riddle with mystery surrounding his future after he signed a two-year deal last summer.
But Record Sport can confirm the 21-year-old is set to exit the Hoops for a second time just 12 months after returning to Parkhead from Rangers.
Scotland Under-21 star Burt featured twice in the Challenge Cup - scoring the winning penalty on his debut back in August as the young Hoops beat Queen’s Park in a shootout.
But his hopes of pushing on to become a first team regular were limited with the likes of Ryan Christie and Tom Rogic dominating the attacking midfield role.
QPR boss Mark Warburton handed Burt his senior debut while at Rangers and is a known admirer.
And Burt is understood to have interest on both sides of the border as he weighs up his next move.
