Liam Boyce is returning to the Scottish Premiership after Burton Albion accepted Hearts' offer for the striker.
Boyce is understood to have agreed personal terms with the Jambos and will travel on Saturday to rubber stamp the deal.
It has been reported that a fee of around £150,000 will be paid to Burton with Boyce's new contract at Hearts running until the summer of 2023.
Hearts are determined to complete the deal quickly to allow Boyce to make his debut against Rangers at Tynecastle Park on Sunday.
Former Ross County striker Boyce has scored 14 goals in 33 games for Burton this season and is in the final six months of his contract with the Brewers.
